NEC will Release a 3D Computer
Posted by Julián at 26 April, 2010 12:35 [ News ]NEC presented a first prototype of this computer module which will go out to the market with a price between 15 thousand yens and 20 thousand yens (121 and 161 Euros).
NEC, the manufacturer of electronics, will commerce in September a desktop computer with the capacity of showing 3D images, as the local agency Kyodo informed.
The computer will integrate a Blu-Ray disc reader, which will allow watching movies and executing programs in 3D with the support of special glasses. Also, a TV tuner will allow seeing shows emitting 3D images.
NEC has already presented a mobile computer in 2004 which incorporated 3D technology but this novelty had no results due to the high price it was managed.
The NEC’s announcement matches the arrival to the market of high definition televisions which incorporate 3D technology, like the Panasonic model, which arrives to the stores in Japan, and Sony arrives in June.
