How to Cast your On-line Vote?

Attention: Every ADOC 2.0 member is only allowed to vote for ONE blog of EACH PME !

Step 1.

 

Please register as ADOC 2.0 website member first

Step 2.

After registration, please go back to the main page and log in the website.

You will see the page below

 

 

Step 3.

Click upper left “ADOC logo” , go back to main page again

 

 

Step 4.

Now click on the country zone which your favorite blog belongs to

 

 

Step 5.

Choose the blog you like, then click “Vote me”

 

 

Step 6.

Fill out the voting form

 

 

Step 7.

Click “vote” to make it effective

Closing time in First round preparation Changed

Dear competitors,

Since the main server had been broken down for few hours on August 30, we've decided to put off the closing time of First Round Preparation till 12:00 A.M. September 1st, at local time in Taipei (GMT+8).

After the closing time (12:00 A.M.), every competitor still can upload articles and edit blogs to attract more votes but will not score any points for “INDICATOR 1: The Number of Successful Stories submitted by the Competing Center” with those “newly-added” stories.

And the First Round On-line Voting will be launched at 3:00 P.M. on the same day.

Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded to the participants and winners of the 2010 ADOC 2.0 Blog Competition:

1. Participants: All those Centers that participate in the competition will receive a Certificate of Recognition for their kind participation

2.Country Champions: Each Center that is awarded the title of Country Champion will receive ONE (1) trophy and TWO (2) Laptops/PCs

3. ADOC 2.0 Champion: The ADOC 2.0 Champion will receive ONE (1) trophy plus the following items:

A. 12 PCs

B. 1 Printer

C. 1 Router

D. 1 Switch

E. 1 Multi-Functional Machine

F. 1 Digital Camera

Criteria

The Selection Criteria for the ADOC 2.0 Blog Competition consists of THREE indicators:

  • INDICATOR 1: The Number of Successful Stories submitted by the Competing Center
    • Purpose: Evaluating  the Center’s Training Achievements
    • Formula: Calculating the total points of successful stories

  • Example

ADOC 2.O BLOG COMPETITION 2010

Competition Schedule

 

The 2010 ADOC 2.0 Blog Competition has been structured in FOUR Stages as explained below:

  • Stage 1: Registration – NOW ~ 25th June
    • All of the ADOC Centers are invited to participate in the 2010 ADOC 2.0 Blog Competition.
    • ADOC Centers that want to participate in the 2010 ADOC 2.0 Blog Competition should fill out the Registration Form and submit it to ADOC Secretariat before 25th June via e-mail.
  • Stage 2: First Round Competition - Electing the Country Champion
    • First Round Preparation – 1st July ~ 31st August
      • From July 1st to August 31st, the Competing Centers, now known as the Competitor, are invited to begin uploading all their successful stories, which may include all of the stories since the year the Center was established.
      • During the First Round of the competition, the successful stories can be presented and written in the mother language of the Competitor. Stories may be presented in different digital formats, including multimedia.
      • Should ADOC Secretariat see any inappropriate content posted on any of the competing blogs, the Competitor will be notified and asked to modify the content within 24 hours. If the blog content still remains unchanged after 24 hours, ADOC Secretariat has the right to remove it.
  • First Round On-line Voting: 1st September ~30th September
    • From September 1st to September 31st, people from APEC and Non-APEC countries are invited to start voting for their favorite Competitor.
    • The voting results from the On-Line Voting will count toward 60 percent (60%) of the results, while the other 40 percent (40%) will come from the number of stories submitted as proposed on the Criteria section. Please refer to section: “Indicator 1: The Number of Successful Stories proposed by the Competing Center”
      • All the votes will ONLY be accepted via ADOC 2.0 Website ( www.apecdoc.org ). Voters MUST be registered as an ADOC 2.0 Website Member to be able to cast their vote.
      • The voters will be required to fill out  an On-Line Voting Form, which includes the following two (2) parts:
      • Part 1: Selecting their most favorite Competitor of the country they presented.
      • Part 2: Presenting Voter’s opinion regarding to the most favorite Competitor by assigning points for each criteria shown on the On-Line Voting Form.
      • Voters CAN ALSO cast their vote for other participating counties. However, voters are restricted to ONLY ONE vote for each participating country.
    • The Competitor with the highest points during the First Round Competition will be awarded the title of Country Champion and entitled to enter the Final Round Competition.
