- The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATTi) covers international trade in goods. The workings of the GATT agreement are the responsibility of the Council for Trade in Goods (Goods Council) which is made up of representatives from all WTO member countries. The current chairperson is H.E. Mr. Vesa Tapani HIMANEN (Finland).

- GFPNsearch for term
- The Gender Focal Point Networki (GFPNi) was established in October 2002. Its main objective is to advance the implementation of the Framework for the Integration of Women in APECi and the work of the SOMi Ad-hoc Advisory Group on Gender Integration (AGGI) in maintaining awareness of gender issues.

- The file format developed by CompuServe to store images. GIFs support 256 colors and are often used for Web images because they compress well.

- An Etherneti technology that raises transmission speed to either 1Gbps or 10Gbps and is compatible with existing Ethernet networks. Gigabit Ethernet is being deployed in large numbers in both corporate and public data networks, and an evenĀ faster 10-Gigabit Ethernet standard is nearing completion.

- A group that conducts research and development for academic grids. The alliance, creators of the Globus Toolkiti, includes representatives from Argonne National Laboratory, the University of Southern California Information Sciences Institute, the University of Chicago, the University of Edinburgh, and the Swedish Center for Parallel Computers. www.globus.org

- A kit designed by the Globus Alliancei to provide a set of tools based on standard grid APIs. Its latest development version, GT3, is based on standards currently being drafted by the Global Grid Forumi.
- GOSsearch for term
- APECi's Group on Services (GOSi) works on trade and investment liberalisation and facilitation issues related to trade in services, and coordinates APEC's work in this area.
- GPEGsearch for term
- The Government Procurement Experts Group (GPEGi) was established in 1995 to consider ways to increase transparency of government procurement markets in accordance with the goals of the Bogor Declaration. The GPEG?s work focuses on continuing the agreed process of voluntary reviews and reports by APECi Member Economies on the consistency of their government procurement framework with the APEC GPEG Non-Binding Principles (NBPs) on government procurement.
