1. ADOC Photo Contest Topics
The topics such as the training activities in the centers, people (trainers or trainees), the touching moment when they visited ADOCs, or anything that is worthy to be remembered in the ADOC program can be accepted. We plan to add some more interesting element to photos this year, so we sincerely ask all competitors to provide photomontage to integrate ADOC/ASUS(sponsor) logo to all your good memories with us.
2. Activity Implementation
2.1 Information Release & Activity Promotion
From 15th March to 15th April, the ADOC Secretariat will send a notice to all the centers and partners about the Photo Contest through the following means:
The program managers in collaboration with overseas coordinators will be responsible to promote the Photo Contest with all APEC DOCs. The activity should be promoted by emails and/or phone calls.
2.2 Picture Taking, Collecting and Editing Period
Starting on 16th April, trainees who are interested in the activity should take pictures on topics such as the training activities in the centers, people (trainers or trainees), the touching moment when they visited ADOCs, or anything that is worthy to be remembered in the ADOC program. We plan to add some more interesting element to photos this year, so we sincerely ask all competitors to provide photomontage to integrate ADOC logo to all your good memories with us.
2.3 Picture Submission Deadline
The participants need to submit their best pictures with a short description up to 200 words to the ADOC Photo Contest Website no later than 1st June. Anyone who would like to participate in the contest is required to be a member of the ADOC Website. In addition, all the contestants need to fill the participant registration form and agree to the terms stated on the Picture Originality Declaration and Waiver/Consent Form.
2.4 Upload Photo(s) to ADOC’s Photo Gallery
Once the participant registration form and the picture originality declaration & waiver/consent form have been validated, the pictures will be uploaded into the activity’s photo gallery automatically.
2.5 Voting Period
Contestants are encouraged to promote their photos by asking friends, family and general public to vote for their picture in the ADOC Website. The voting period starts form 2nd June and will be ended at 12:00 am on 25th June, Taipei time. The top 20 pictures which won the most votes will be reviewed in the next stage.
2.6 Judging Period
A panel of selected judges from the ADOC Secretariat and ASUS Foundation will review the top 20 pictures from 26th June to 30th June. And 3 of 20 pictures will be chosen as the final winners. 2.7 Results Notification
The ADOC Secretariat will release the final contest results in the ADOC website on 1st July. The ADOC Project Managers, in collaboration with Overseas Coordinators, will directly contact the winners to inform them about the results.
2.8 Prize Awarding
Based on the criteria stipulated in section 9 of this document, 1st place will be awarded $300 dollars, 2nd place $200 dollars, and 3rd place $100 dollars. The ADOC Secretariat will send the prizes to the oversea coordinators in each Partner Member Economy. The Prize Awarding is scheduled to deliver to winner from 16th July to 31st July.
