What are the benefits of being an ADOC member?

ADOCⁱ Partner Member Economies (PMEs) benefits from being a part of ADOC at many levels. At a multilateral lever, ADOC brings together the views of 6 PMEs, the businiss community and other parties to attend to issue that impact on the Asia-Pacific region. ADOC is a training place, meeting place of ideas, concerns and plans for the future growth of the region.

For developing economies ADOC provides additional benefits in areas such as the development of procedures, policy frameworks and system to deal with contemporay issues. Development economies also have the opportunity to help set ADOC agenda and have as much say as some of the ADOC PMEs for business from APECⁱ MEs, the most obvious benefits are the reduction in barriers and impediments to trade across borders.
