What is ICT Elite Camp ?
ICT Elite Camp
The ADOCi program holds an ICT Elite Camp in Chinese Taipei annually. A total of 18 policy makers are invited, two representatives from each of the six ADOC Partner Member Economies.
The Elite camp provides the participants with valuable insights into a wide range of topics related to the planning and implementation of e-Trade, e-Government and e-Society. A comprehensive series of over 30 lectures, presentations and workshops are delivered by leading experts from government, academia, and the private sector. Lectures are complemented by a number of site visits and field trips, enabling the participants the see the actual implementation of the various e-policies, conducted by Chinese Taipei.
Policy makers are encouraged to bring e-Programs actually being implemented in their economies to the ICT Elite Camp for review and discussion. While at the camp, they are also expected to draft further e-Proposals, under the guidance of ICT experts in Chinese Taipei, to be taken back for appraisal, and possible implementation.
The ICT Elite camp provides an excellent opportunity for policy makers to share experiences and learn in detail about the e- Policies and practices of six different APECi member economies.
