Dr. Stan Shih, Chairman, ADOC 2.0 Project Non-Government Steering Committee	1st phase-> mostly initiated by gov’t 2nd phase-> gather private partnership and other organizations Our goal: invite more resources from the original sponsors. Convert digital divides into digital opportunities. FIND A NEW INNOVATIVE, EFFECTIVE APPROACH.
Ms. Cheryl H.J. Tseng, Director General, Overall Planning Department, CEPD	How to make transition from ADOC plan to ADOC 2.0 smoothly? Besides the effort of government, we also welcome parties from private sector to join us. We all know that the resource of Government is limited, but the resources from private sector like NPOs and NGOs are unlimited. We need to establish a mechanism to cooperate both public sector and private sector. Involvement of other APEC PMEs is required. The pilot plan of ADOC plan has attracted attention within APEC. Chinese Taipei welcomes all other PMEs to join us and make ADOC 2.0 better.
Mr. Hsien-Chao Tseng, Executive Secretary, APEC Task Force, Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA	We have four plans As everyone knows, we have established 41 DOCs among PMEs. Besides, we will continue to maintain these DOCs. With assistant from Dr. Stan Shih and parties from other private sectors, new DOCs will be established in different PMEs. We will focus on increasing the ability of ICT and training people especially in trainer’s trainee and disadvantage groups. We will keep promoting ICT in the near future.
Mr. Daniel Lin, Unit Chief, Department of International Organizations, MOFA	In order to promote and sustain ADOC 2.0, we will need to cooperate with private sectors from PMEs closely. It is our goal to reduce digital divides and convert it into digital opportunities under structure of ECOTECH, and we will continue to work on it.
Fr. Benigno P. Beltran, Executive Director, Sandiwaan Center for Learning	Without Chinese Taipei, ADOC plan will not be possible. With assistance of Chinese Taipei and their DOCs, we are able to train people with ICT knowledge and to teach children with modern ICT equipment.
Ms. Liliana Honorio, Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Peru	This ADOC 2.0 plan is still not well known, we should try to invite other parties from NGO, SMEs and NPO to work with this program. Besides attracting more partners, tourism is also another possibility other than exports.
Ms. Boey Lin Fong, Irene, President, Singapore Business & Professional Women’s Association	Although Singapore is not a member of ADOC just yet, however this is a very meaningful project, because this will create opportunities and increase welfare for women.
Dr. Petmanee Daowieng, Manager, Office of SMEs Promotion, Thailand	We have six DOCs in Thailand. We have plans to promote e-business and we as Government agency, assist people when they came for help. It is all made it possible with the generosity of Chinese Taipei and its ADOC plan.
Dr. Jacob Shi-Min Lee, CEO, ADOC 2.0 Project Non-government Office	ADOC 2.0 is similar to WEB 2.0. Three topics to consider at the beginning: RELEVANCE: different culture, local knowledge and infrastructure among different PMEs. ACCESS: how to reach those needed people. Affordability: must be affordable for everyone to use. The best way to achieve; this is bottom up (from end user’s point of view) mechanism.
Closing Speech
Dr. Stan Shih, Chairman, ADOC 2.0 Project Non-Government Steering Committee	Chinese Taipei must be involved because Chinese Taipei is the largest manufacture of the personal computer, and with low cost production, the goal of the hundred US dollar pc has been achieved in 2005. Chinese Taipei must be prepared in hardware and software in order to assist people with needs among PMEs.
