Promoting the use of current ICT technologies and capabilities are among the most important tasks for ADOC 2.0. Bearing this in mind, 2009 has seen the introduction of a series of blog competitions which are designed to encourage all ADOC 2.0 project participants to use the web to post and share their stories with other project members. By hosting this interactive competition, we also aim to increase the awareness of the benefits that ICT can bring about.

The competition began early in 2009 by first inviting the stories of Promperu and their ADOC 2.0 trainees. One happy winner was announced during the ADOC 2.0 week hosted in Taipei in October of 2009. Since we want to continue hearing more stories and give trainees an opportunity to share their experiences obtained through the ADOC 2.0 training, we have decided to host a second competition with the participation of Lord Byron School in Peru and the municipalities of Peñalolen and Padre Las Casas in Chile. Winners will be announced in December by the ADOC Secretariat.

In order to determine the best Blog entries, the stories published are evaluated in terms of content, creativity, relevance, and impact. We expect to organize more competitions of this sort to give the same opportunity to many of the other ADOC centers in the Partner Member Economies.
