FMC to double by 2014 in Latin America-study

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: According to a report, the number of fixed mobile converged services will double in Latin America between 2009 and 2014, attributed to the development of UMTS / HSPA networks, while fixed mobile convergence market will grow at a CAGR of 14.8 % in the period. The main focus of growth will be the combined broadband access via DSL and 3G lines together with mobile voice services. The study also projects that Argentina, Brazil and Chile will lead FMC deployments in the region.
