Chile ADOC Centers

In order to take the advantage of Taiwan in information technology industry to improve the life of APEC members, we had expanded our project into Latin America since 2005. From 2006 to 2013 June, 8 ADOC Centers have been established in Chile and around 38,305 people have received training. These centers focus mainly on trainers’ training, women and children’s ICT skills, and strengthen local SMEs’ e-commerce abilities.

SOFOFA (2006)

SOFOFA was ADOC Partner Office & DOC established in June, 20th, 2006. SOFOFA is one of the earliest established centers in Chile. Now the cooperation between ADOC secretariat and SOFOFA has ended. For more information, please refer to the website of SOFOFA.

Valparaiso (2006)

This ADOC Center is a Tele-Center which was established is Municipalidad de Valparaiso in Chile in 2006. Valparaiso is 117 km far from Santiago de Chile (capital), and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The city can be divided according to geographical features of the area, the “Plan” and “Cerros”. For more information of Valparaiso, please refer to their website through the link.

Penalolen (2006)

SERCOTEC (2007)

Kuching ADOC digital opportunity center has been running since 2007. The signing & donation ceremony was held on 2007. The cooperation between ADOC secretariat and Sercotec was terminated. For more information, please refer to the website of Sercotec.

Padre Las Casas (2008)

Kuching ADOC digital opportunity center has been running since 2008. The signing & donation ceremony was held on May 23th, 2008. The cooperation between Padre Las Casas was terminated. Temuco (2008)

Puente Alto (2011)

Estacion Central (2012)

Estacion Central is the latest APEC Digital Opportunity Center in Chile, which was established in the mid of 2012/5/23. This center is established to provide comprehensive education/Training in Chile.
